Empowering Web3: Animoca Brands, Amazon Web Services, and Polygon Labs Team Up
Today marks a significant alliance between Animoca Brands, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Polygon Labs, as they unveil the MoonRealm Express Accelerator.
This strategic collaboration aims to invigorate Web3 developers globally and expedite the evolution of Web3 products and solutions through Animoca Brands’ flagship project, Mocaverse.
The MoonRealm Express Accelerator represents an accelerator program, empowering builders worldwide to propel development in burgeoning realms like decentralized identity, SocialFi, and GameFi. It beckons builders to conceive and execute innovative ideas and solutions within the Mocaverse landscape.
At its core, the accelerator’s objective is to aid aspiring builders in transforming concepts into tangible solutions. It shepherds innovation across the entire lifecycle of a Web3 startup – from ideation to Web3 masterclasses, builder-centric hackathons, and nurturing high-caliber projects.
The inaugural MoonRealm Express Accelerator cohort focuses on fortifying and expanding Mocaverse’s ecosystem, particularly after the recent launch of Moca ID and Realm Points on the Polygon chain. The program’s first hackathon, set for early 2024, will task builders with devising protocols that leverage and augment the Moca ID on-chain identity ecosystem, integrating Realm Points as integral assets.
Hackathon tracks encompass Web3 Identity, Web3 Social, and Web3 Growth, aiming to elevate Mocaverse as the primary platform for Web3 loyalty programs. This vision is nurtured through collaborative efforts harnessing Animoca Brands’ expertise, AWS’s capabilities, and Polygon Labs‘ expansive network, intertwining Web3, cloud, AI, and blockchain technologies.
Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, expressed enthusiasm: “Partnering with AWS and Polygon Labs, we offer ambitious builders the chance to join this expanding ecosystem, empowering them with knowledge, tools, and resources to contribute to the major Web3 identity and loyalty platform.”
It is worth noting that AWS plays a pivotal role, committing a US$1.1M investment to support up to 500 eligible startups in the inaugural cohort. AWS Activate offers cloud resources, technical masterclasses for Web3 applications, AI-powered products, venture capital exposure, go-to-market assistance, and more.
Polygon Labs will conduct workshops for participating startups, providing essential knowledge for success in this dynamic field. The entity will also contribute cash bounties for hackathons, while solution providers in the Polygon ecosystem offer service vouchers for these startups.
