UAE Majid Al Futtaim and Emirates Post to utilize Blockchain UAE Pass
Majid Al Futtaim Communities and Emirates Post, have launched click and sign solution for Sale and Purchase agreements using Blockchain enabled UAE Pass. UAE PASS, the first secure national digital identity for citizens and residents of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Majid Al Futtaim Communities will enable customers to sign documents and transactions digitally with ID verification.
Marking a new milestone in the digital transformation of the UAE property sector, the initiative is designed to significantly enhance the customer experience across Majid Al Futtaim Communities’ landmark destinations in the UAE. Upon agreement to purchase a property, buyers will receive an email and SMS with link to their SPA ready for signing, prompting them to confirm their credentials on the UAE PASS app to sign the document in its digital form – quickly, simply and securely.
The integration of the UAE PASS simplifies and speeds up the property purchase process whilst enabling buyers to complete the purchase of their new home wherever they are in the world. The new click and sign solution is not only convenient but offers superior security for added peace of mind; protected by robust security protocols, the blockchain-powered system facilitates the reliable verification and validation of digital signatures backed by completely traceable credentials.
Over 500 customers are expected to sign SPAs via UAE PASS click and sign signature certified by Emirates Post for property purchases at Tilal Al Ghaf and Al Zahia in Sharjah in the coming months.

In offering this service, which can be integrated easily with existing systems, Emirates Post has strictly complied with relevant local and international regulations concerning digital signature. The electronic signatures and other relevant user data are stored and processed in the Emirates to ensure the highest level of data security.
The move follows a prior announcement that saw the Lifestyle Destination Creator becoming the first developer in the UAE to avail of the new electronic transactions law, Federal Decree-Law No. (46) of 2021 which entered into effect on 2 January 2022 by digitalizing real estate sales transactions in collaboration with Aldar Properties.
Emirates Post has expressed its keen interest in the utilization of Blockchain for enhancing its services. Emirates Post also recently released NFT stamps in celebration of UAE National Day celebrations.
