A recent survey carried out by UNLOCK online media publication revealed that 67% of those surveyed in the region do not fully understand Blockchain. Given that 40% of those surveyed will be implementing it in the near future, it is now time to see how Blockchain can be used to the best of its capability.
Blockchain will have a tremendous influence on the future of technology in the world, as it prohibits data manipulation, and allows safer transactions. Using the Blockchain, everything we do has a digital record. That means every process, transaction, task, and payment has a digital record. This will be useful in the exchange of payments and bonds and will enhance the quality of service delivery across many industries like social and healthcare, logistics, transportation, real estate while also reducing the possibility of security breaches…
Saudis have shown an early interest in the Blockchain in order to gain a better understanding of the technology or optimize its usage across different sectors. This was reflected in the interest shown by many Saudi businessmen, experts, entrepreneurs and startups participating in the UNLOCK Blockchain Forum taking place on January 14th and 15th 2018 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel DIFC.
